Afterschool Enrichment program - We’ve been part of Gantry View School’s afterschool enrichment program for the past four years, bringing breakdancing to the amazing kids in the Long Island City community. Through this partnership, we get to share the art, energy, and culture of breaking in a fun and creative way that keeps students moving and inspired.

We’re proud to partner with the Queensboro Dance Festival to celebrate and uplift the Queens dance community. Together, we’ve brought breaking to outdoor stages across the borough, showcasing the art form through live performances. Each year, we also co-host Queens Konquest—a high-energy breaking competition that brings together youth and adult dancers from NYC and the tri-state area for a day of battles, culture, and community.

Through our collaboration with 92Y, we’ve brought our breaking program to the Upper East Side—introducing kids and teens to the movement, music, and culture of hip-hop. Together, we’re building community through dance and creating a space for students to grow in confidence, creativity, and skill.

We began our partnership with the British International School of New York in the spring of 2025 and are excited to be returning this Fall! As part of their after school enrichment program, we bring breaks to students in a fun and engaging way—helping them explore movement, rhythm, and hip-hop culture.

P.S. 361Q was the first NYC DOE school to partner with us, and it holds a special place in our journey. Our breaking classes were built right into the students’ daily school schedule, allowing us to work closely with them throughout the program. The program culminated in end-of-year performances that showcased the students’ growth, creativity, and ability to express themselves through breaking in front of their entire school community.
